【摘要】:Internaltemperaturemeasurementsaremadeonbothin-flightvehiclesandon-groundtestspecimens;and,becauseoftheimportanceofthetemperaturemeasurementstothedesignofvariousmissileandspacecraftheatshields,itisessentialthatcarebetakentominimizethesourcesoferrorinobtainingthesemeasurements.Overthepastseveralyears,theproblemsofusingthermocouplestoobtainaccuratetemperaturemeasurementsinlow-conductivityspecimenshavebeenstudiedbyvariouspeopletoisolatethesourcesoferrorandtoestablishimprovedtemperaturemeasurementtechniques.Themajorsourcesoferrorarelistedinthisdocumentandrecommendedsolutionstotheproblemsaregiven.1.1Thispracticecoversmethodsforinstrumentinglow-conductivityspecimensfortestinginanenvironmentsubjecttorapidthermalchangessuchasproducedbyrocketmotors,atmosphericre-entry,electric-arcplasmaheaters,andsoforth.Specifically,practicesforbare-wirethermocoupleinstrumentationapplicabletosheath-typethermocouplesarediscussed.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricequivalentsofinch-poundunitsmaybeapproximate.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thepurposeofthesecolorcodesistoallowforquickidentificationofingotbundlesorjumboingotsofalloysusedforhot-dipgalvanizing.Otherthanjumboingots,thisstandardisnotintendedtoimplythateachingotwillbecolor-codedbutonlythateachingotbundlebecolorcoded.EachingotbundleorjumboingotshallbeidentifiedwiththeappropriatecolorcodelistedinTable1.Thecolorwillbeappliedasastripe,orstripes,ontwoadjacentsidesoftheingotbundleorjumboingot.Thecolorstripeswillbeappliedtoincludetheingotbundlefoot.Whenusingmultiplestripes,thecoloredstripeswillbeappliedfromlefttorightasindicatedinTable1.Intheabsenceofawrittenagreementtothecontrarybetweenthesupplierandenduser,theNorthAmericancolorcodewillbethestandardforallNorthAmericantransactions;forallothertransactionstheInternationalColorCodewillbeused.1.1Thisstandardispublishedwiththefollowingobjectives:1.1.1Toestablishstandardcolorcodesforzinc,zincalloyandzincmasteralloyingotusedbytheHot-DipGalvanizingindustry,and1.1.2Tostandardizetheuseandapplicationofthesecolorcodes.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
