【摘要】:ServicesforComputerSupportedTelecommunicationsApplicationsaredefinedbyStandardECMA-269andtheXMLProtocolforthoseservicesaredefinedbyStandardECMA-323.Inmanycases,applicationsrequireonlyasmallsubsetofthefeaturesstandardizedinCSTA.Inavoicebrowserenvironment,processingspeech(notcallcontrol)isusuallythemajorfocusoftheapplication.Forexample,fromaCSTAfeatureperspective,anapplicationmaysimplyneedtoansweranincomingcallandthenlaterclearit.Asthesespeech-centricapplicationsevolvetheycanuseadditional,moreadvanced,featuresstandardizedbyCSTAthatareprovidedbyCSTA-conformantcommunicationsplatforms.SinceECMA-269andECMA-323arerelativelylargestandards(combinedover1100pages),itisachallengeforapplicationdeveloperswithoutpriorknowledgeoftheCSTAstandardstoknowwheretofindbasicconceptsthattheyneedtounderstandinordertoimplementbasicCSTAfeatures.ThisTRillustrateshowECMA-323canbeusedinaVoiceBrowserenvironment.TheseconceptsillustratedinthisTRcanbeappliedtoanyVoiceBrowserenvironmentthatprovidesanXML-basedread/writemessaginginterface(i.e.CSTAServiceBoundary)thatsupportsasynchronouseventsfromaCSTAconformantcommunicationplatform.SALTenabledbrowsersthatimplementaECMA-323interfaceforcallcontrolusingtheSALTsmexmechanismisanexampleofabrowserwiththiscapability.ThroughoutthisTRtheterm"ECMA-323enabledvoicebrowser"isused,inagenericsense,torefertobrowserimplementationthatsupportaCSTAconformantECMA-323interface.ExamplesareprovidedthatshowhowECMA-323canbeusedinseveraldifferentenvironmentssuchasSALT-enabledbrowsersandCCXML.
