【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardidentifieshazardsandspecifiessafetyrequirementsapplicabletosewingmachines,sewingunitsandsewingsystemsdesignedforprofessional(industrial,commercialorlaboratory)useinindustriesincludingtheclothingandfootwear,leathergoods,shirtsandblousery,hosieryandknitwear,lingerie,glove,upholsteryandpackagingindustries,andinshoerepair.TheinformationonuseandmaintenanceofsuchmachinesinotherindustriescouldgiverisetohazardsnotconsideredinthisInternationalStandard.TherequirementsofthisInternationalStandardareapplicabletomachineryinstalledindryandwell-kept,cleanlocationsandprocessingdrysewingmaterial.Wherethesewingmachines,sewingunitsorsewingsystemsareusedinotherthandryandwell-kept,cleanlocations,morestringentmeasurescouldbenecessary:forexample,thehigherdegreeofprotectionprovidedbyenclosures(IPcode—seeIEC60529)[5].ThepurposeofthisInternationalStandardistoassistthemanufacturertodesignmachinerysuchthattherisksarisingfromitsdefined,intendeduseandmaintenancearereducedoreliminated.Thesignificanthazardsandhazardoussituationsaregiventogetherwithareferencetothecorrespondingsafetyrequirementormeasurein4.2to4.8.Significanthazardsarethoseidentifiedandestimatedasrequiringactiontoreducetherisktheypose.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletosteppingframesewingmachines,shoebottomstitchingmachines,largeshuttleembroiderymachinesinaccordancewithISO11111[1],integratedsewingsystemswithininthescopeofISO11161[2]orhouseholdsewingmachinesinaccordancewithIEC60335-2-28[4].NOTEIfhouseholdsewingmachinesareusedforprofessionalpurposes,itcouldbenecessarytotakemeasuresinaccordancewiththisInternationalStandard(e.g.theuseofafingerdeflectingdevice).
