【摘要】:ThisStandardprovidesrequirementsforthedesign,fabrication,inspection,testing,marking,andstampingofpressurevesselsforhumanoccupancy,havinganinternalorexternalpressuredifferentialexceeding2psi.ThisStandardalsoprovidesrequirementsforthedesign,fabrication,inspection,testing,cleaning,andcertificationofpipingsystemsforPVHOs.APVHOisapressurevesselthatenclosesahumanbeingwithinitspressureboundarywhileitisunderinternalorexternalpressurethatexceedsa2psidifferentialpressure.PVHOsinclude,butarenotlimitedto,submersibles,divingbells,personneltransfercapsules,decompressionchambers,recompressionchambers,hyperbaricchambers,highaltitudechambers,andmedicalhyperbaricoxygenationfacilities.Thisdoesnotincludenuclearreactorcontainments,pressurizedairplaneandaerospacevehiclecabins,andcaissons.

These systems are inherent to the aircraft, but can be ground applied.
